I’ve got one! It’s great! The design has a flaw, which is that you press the button by accident all the time, which kills the battery.

Thanks, Joshua, this is good to know! Do you keep it in your pocket? How often do you use it? It would be cool to hear about a time when you surreptitiously turned off someone else’s TV with it.

I have one too, and it rocks. Unfortunately, I dropped my keys too often and broke the plastic housing such that it won’t attach to my keyring.

When my brother got it for me as a present, I had it on me constantly. I love mischief, but I needed more practice to aim the thing while at the same time acting sneaky.

The best is when you’re in a restaurant and there’s a game on that no one’s even watching It’s noisy and distracting. So you turn it off!

Here’s a key: don’t look at the TV when you do it. People will get upset. Even if they’re not watching, they want the TV to tell them what to do!

Mischa, I bet you could make a new case out of shrink wrap tubing pretty easily.

This is a little off the subject, but yesterday, I received two pieces of mail from Direct TV. One said my bill of $137.00 was overdue and the other said that here is your bill for $137.00. They provided a phone number to call for clarification and they explained that because I returned the receiver and wanted to end the contract early, I would have to pay them. I told him,the offer was that you could try their Direct Tv for thirty days and if you didn’t want it there would be no charge. I protested and he said wait a minute and I’ll ask my supervisor about it. He came back and said I didn’t have to pay the $137.00 after all. I wonder how many times they have pulled this and actually gotten someone to pay.

That’s awful, Grandpa! I’m sure glad you stood your ground against those jerks.
