Busy week

Wow, a lot has happened in the last week.
I finished a couple books:
The Calcutta Chromosome (a medical mystery novel about malaria, which was disappointing)
and
The Spirit Catches You and You Fall Down, by Anne Fadiman, which was EXCELLENT.

Today I just found out that I have also received the Population Fellows Programs’ Graduate Applied Project (GAP) Mini-Grant for my summer work in family planning research and programming in Vietnam!
It doesn’t get better than this.

Fun in Eufaula
