Easy, delicious Pepper-Lime Chicken

It’s in my oven right now, and it smells so good!
2.5 - 3 lbs of meaty chicken pieces (breast halves, thighs, drumsticks)
1 TBS finely shredded lime peel
1/4 cup lime juice
1 TBS cooking oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried thyme or basil, crushed
1 teaspoon black pepper
